1/7/24 The Coming and Going Within the Kingdom of God
Scripture: Luke 14: 16, 17
Evangelist: Bro. Ian D. Nickerson, Sr.
- Coming and going sometimes indicates chaos and confusion
- Come and Go: both words involve action and movement. Come: travel or move with the one speaking. Go: To travel or move to another place or location. Key: Direction of the movement
- Come is typically the invitation to come to Jesus
- Go is the command or imperative, it demands a response from the one who is being spoken to
- Matthew 11:28
- Jesus commanded you to come, it was not a suggestion
- Come to Jesus! He has the gift of eternal life
- If you come, you gotta be ready to go.
- Matthew 28:19
- Don’t live a command as an option or suggestion
- Go, teach, baptize, and make disciples
- When you come and get blessed, go and bless someone else
- God will use you when you make yourself available!
