1/7/24 The Coming and Going Within the Kingdom of God

Scripture: Luke 14: 16, 17

  1. Coming and going sometimes indicates chaos and confusion
  2. ​​Come and Go: both words involve action and movement. Come: travel or move with the one speaking. Go: To travel or move to another place or location. Key: Direction of the movement
  3. Come is typically the invitation to come to Jesus
  4. ​​Go is the command or imperative, it demands a response from the one who is being spoken to
  5. Matthew 11:28
  6. Jesus commanded you to come, it was not a suggestion
  7. Come to Jesus! He has the gift of eternal life
  8. ​​If you come, you gotta be ready to go.
  9. ​​Matthew 28:19
  10. ​​Don’t live a command as an option or suggestion
  11. ​​Go, teach, baptize, and make disciples
  12. When you come and get blessed, go and bless someone else
  13. ​​God will use you when you make yourself available!
