- These versus represent giving thanks to God that we are to do always
- The story for the lesson talks about a 40 year journey that should’ve took only 11 days
- The people complained and it cost them
- This story talks about how easy it is to be ungrateful
- Exodus 16:2-3
- Sometimes unthankfulness blinds us from the truth of our circumstances
- Numbers 11:1-6 talks about complaining and unthankfulness
- How does God feel when we are unthankful?
- Unthankfulness leads to discontent
- Psalm 106:13-15 talks about unthankfulness
- We forget God’s blessings when we are unthankful
- Are we guilty of taking God’s blessings for granted and having a spirit of ingratitude?

- Gratitude reorients our hearts to recognize God’s goodness
- Replace complaints with praise and dissatisfaction with gratitude
- God blesses us in mighty ways and when we are not thankful, we end up on a 40 year journey that could’ve taken 11 days or less
- God has blessed us. We don’t have anything to complain about
- Stop complaining and be thankful. Everyday above ground is a blessing
- God is greater than our situations and circumstances
