11/24/24 Obeying the Heavenly Vision
Scripture: Acts 26:19-23

- Every godly leader has a clear, succinct, attainable vision at the time it is received. No one has done so without a vision from God
- Without a vision, the church stands still, the church doesn’t progress and people perish
- Vision has the characteristics of possibly. Fantasies are pictures in our mind that will always be beyond our reach
- When we have a vision from God it will stop us.
- You will be sent by the vision
- The value of the vision encourages you to give up what you are to receive what you can become
- You will be strengthened by the vision
- 2 Corinthians 11:23-28
- God is teaching us how to depend on Him above all else. It starts in the thought world and ends up in your life
- When you catch a vision of who God is and what He wants from you it will change you
- Paul’s vision stretched and helped him
- Difference between a dreamer and a person who has a dream. Everyone can have a dream. Dreamers talk alot but do little. They come up with plans and ideas that don’t come to fruition.
- A person who has a dream talks little but does much. You may not hear about the dream, but if you catch it and with you see thing pan out. They are driven by their dream
- Paul’s vision and dream satisfied him.
- Satisfaction in being obedient to God
- Dream a dream that’s bigger than you
- Moses at the age of 80 led people out of captivity.
- Dream a dream that will outlast you so those coming behind you can carry it on after you’re gone and enjoy what you helped create
- Keep the cross in front of you.
- You cannot overrule the devil by yourself
- When you identify with Christ, you are identified with the authority that overrides Satan’s power
