- Be careful with the words we speak
- 2 Cor. 10:4-5
- Cast thoughts from your mind that aren’t in alignment with God’s word
- What do you do when people you love turn their backs on the God you serve?
- Habakkuk 1:2
- God’s response to the injustice in v. 5-11
- There are consequences to sin
- v. 16 Habakkuk’s knees got weak when he knew what was about to happen
- v. 17, 18, 19 helps us see how to turn a withdrawal into a deposit
- He acknowledged the reality of his situation. When we talk about turning withdrawals into deposits, we have to acknowledge the reality, but still turn it into a deposit
- v. 18 yet…I will rejoice!
- I still have God!
- Habakkuk 2:4 The just shall live by his faith
- In the midst of everything going on, still live by faith
- God is my strength and source of all my resources
- God will anoint your feet like deer feet so you will to slip and fall and can go up to high places
- We go through the valley and not stay in the valley
- Recognize that God is your strength! v. 19
- He will give you what you need to stable you
- God is our strength. He will anoint our feet that we will not slip
