5/19/24 Purpose of Problems: The Problem is not the Problem

Scripture: Romans 8:28

  1. The problem you’re dealing with is not the problem but the way you currently see the problem
  2. ​​You can’t see the problem because you need to understand we are created for God’s good. That understanding gives us the capacity to find purpose and good in everything life…including problems
  3. The illiterate of the 21st century will not be those who cannot read and write, but those who cannot learn, unlearn, and relearn. -Alvin Toffler
  4. John 12:25 He who loves his life. He who have learned about life has to unlearn what he already learned. Then he will have to relearn about the life God created you to live
  5. ​​In order to find purpose in your problems, you have to learn God’s purpose for problems. Learn how God sees and understands our problems
  6. ​​The problems is how we have come to see our problems
  7. 2 Kings 6:17
  8. Those not connected to God can see their problems as overwhelming and all consuming. You see yourself compared to your problems as being stuck
  9. ​​In 2 Kings 6:17, a servant asks Elisha what shall we do? They both are observing the same circumstance and problem
  10. ​​Elisha says don’t fear. Those with us are more than those that are with them
  11. When it comes to your problems, there is a purpose to the problem. With how you see the problem
  12. When you understand we are created for the purpose of God with a purpose, God will prevail!
  13. When you love God and pursue His purpose, those who are with you are more than those with “them”. There is a purpose for your problems and goes with how you see your problem
  14. The problem is how you see the problem
  15. ​​If all you see is what you see, you will never see all that there is to be seen
  16. The problem is not the problem, but how you see the problem!
  17. Whatever the problem/circumstance, ask God to open your eyes to see all that needs to be seen…as it relates to your problem
  18. God has a purpose for problems. You need to unlearn that problems are never intended to look at being bad.
  19. You have to learn the purpose of problems.
  20. ​​James 1:3
  21. ​​Your problems is not to destroy you but to develop you. Part of your development in confronting your problems is to develop patience. You have to allow patience to do it’s work
  22. ​​Your problem is designed to help you develop patience. The outcome is that you might be complete, lacking nothing
  23. You have to develop spiritually to be literate in the spiritual sense. You have to go through a process of learning, unlearning, and relearning
  24. Your problems are to develop you and not destroy you
  25. Problems are not bad
  26. Unlearn that problems are not bad. Nor an embarrassment. Problems are not abnormal.
  27. ​​Embrace your problems. Relearn-Problems are not annoying (although they can be). There’s a perfect work happening through the problems you are experiencing
  28. ​​The purpose of the problem is to develop the capacity of God’s purpose for your life. Your have to view every problem as a purpose opportunity.
