9/15/24 Jesus Our Life Model: For Confident Obedience
Scripture: Hebrews 5:8-9
Preacher: Elder Randy Jackson, Sr.
- Jesus was born to be the king of a kingdom
- Jesus was committed to the process of God and not focused on the outcome of God
- Phillipians 2:5-9
- Confident Obedience is trusting in the process and being under rule so you can be the ruler the assignment God has for my life.
- We must use a positive oriented mindset
- Every word subject to the king, every thought subject to the king, every thought subject to the king, every action subject to the king, every deed subject to the king,
- Total being subject to the king
- Living in the Gap- The time/Distance Between Promise and fulfillment
- The time/ Distance between start and finish
- The distance between the life you want and the life you are living
- Operating from a posture that spirit is king, soul is servants and body is the slave
- Operate in a spirit in confident obedience
- Allows us to act in faith in moments of life contradictions
- Confident obedience will be required in moments of life
- Examples… seasons of singleness
- God is committed to his purpose for every child of God who claims the name of God
- Can you be committed to the process of what you do, without being emotionally attached to the result of what you do?
- Whenever you don’t operate with the confidence of obedience, it can affect you in ways where you will question the promises of God
- Matthew 3:1-2; Matthew 11:1-3
- Are you committed to the process?
