3/10/24 Experiencing the Fullness of Forgiveness

Scripture: Psalm 51

1. We are three fold spiritual beings and that helps us see that forgiveness is a process.
2. When we think about forgiveness we think about having to forgive somebody else.
3. We must forgive from our heart Matt. 18:35
4. David takes responsibility for his actions. He has rebellious disobedience, inward perversion, and spiritual failure.
5. Experience the fullness of forgiveness by confessing our guilt.
6. Tell the truth
7. v. 7-12 David asks God not only to forgive me, but change me.
8. When we ask for forgiveness we are asking God to change us from who we are to someone better.
