9/15/24 Jesus Our Life Model: For Confident Obedience

Scripture: Hebrews 5:8-9

  1. Jesus was born to be the king of a kingdom
  2. ​​Jesus was committed to the process of God and not focused on the outcome of God
  3.  Phillipians 2:5-9
  4. ​​Confident Obedience is trusting in the process and being under rule so you can be the ruler the assignment God has for my life.
  5. We must use a positive oriented mindset
  6. Every word subject to the king, every thought subject to the king, every thought subject to the king, every action subject to the king, every deed subject to the king,
  7. Total being subject to the king
  8. ​​Living in the Gap- The time/Distance Between Promise and fulfillment
  9. ​​The time/ Distance between start and finish
  10. ​​The distance between the life you want and the life you are living
  11. Operating from a posture that spirit is king, soul is servants and body is the slave
  12. ​​Operate in a spirit in confident obedience
  13. Allows us to act in faith in moments of life contradictions
  14. ​​Confident obedience will be required in moments of life
  15. Examples… seasons of singleness
  16. God is committed to his purpose for every child of God who claims the name of God
  17. ​​Can you be committed to the process of what you do, without being emotionally attached to the result of what you do?
  18. ​​Whenever you don’t operate with the confidence of obedience, it can affect you in ways where you will question the promises of God

  20. ​​Are you committed to the process?
